This is a picture of Beavertail, one of our state parks located on Jamestown. People hike, saltwater fish, boat, picnic - even get married (one of our teachers did, last summer). It's a nice place to picnic, rollerblade, play frisbee, all kinds of fun things. This is a picture of our school:
Our school is located next to an ancient Narragansett burial area. We walk, skateboard, bike to school as well a being driven by bus or car. We are so excited to hear from you!! We have tech ed on Thursdays, so that is the time we definitely will get a chance to send you some photos, videos or slide shows. I don't know if we can skype - I think NZ is 18 hours ahead of us but maybe we can figure something out! Peace out, your friends in the 4th grade in Rhode Island, USA.

Rotorua is pretty and lovely where I live. Rotorua has heaps of mud pools where we live. There are heaps of beautiful blue lakes. It is also really stinky in Rotorua. It is nice and sunny over here in Rotorua. It has heaps of flowers.

hi I'am Eshini and In Rotorua it is lovely, there a beautiful lakes and here it is lovely weather for going outside. Rotorua has beautiful beaches around our laks and we have a meausem and if you go into the meausem you can see things that were in the past. some exsamples are a movie, sharp objects, painted pictures and flax pattens on the wall.

ReplyDeleteI am good. In Rotorua we don't get snow. We have travel to the mountains to see the snow - Mount Ruapehu. We are in Spring and it is soon going to be Summer. I like to go down the coast to Te Kaha. I go snorkling, fishing and diving.My best friends are Bradley and Daniel, they are in a different class.

ReplyDeleteI like to ride my rip-stick which a sort of moveable skateboard. THe books that I like are the Zac Power series - they are about spies. Today we had wheels Day at school, we were able to bring bikes, skateboards, rollerblades etc to school. It was fun.

I am 43 years old and I told my class how when I was at school, computers had only just started coming in, and none of that computer lingo had been invented - they found that hard to imagine.

ReplyDeletethank you for being my buddy,I do not like dancing and my favirout coulur is green and I like to play waterpolo we have heaps of tourists and we have lots of things to see and do like the muesum. last week we went on camp, and my favirout activity was the archry because when ever you pop a baloon you get a lolipop and if you hit the red and in you also get a lolipop the max of lolipops is two when we went on the night walk all the adults would hide and jump out at you and heaps of people were screaming.
were are you going on vaction? And I sort of like school, last week ago we went to camp and my favirout activity was the flying fox because it was the fastest activity my 2nd favirout was archry because if we hit a bloon or a red tagert or a yellow tagert we would get a lolly pop bye see ya again next time
